The error message "On call service required" means in most cases that the small battery for the on-call system has gone bad, these normally have a lifespan of about 10 years.

At Volvo today, a battery replacement costs about SEK 4,600, so this aftermarket battery is a much better solution for those who don't mind doing a little bit themselves at a fraction of the price.

Important information about the product:

• The connector on this battery is NOT adapted for the purpose, the connector needs to be moved over from your old battery to fit in the car.
• When the battery is changed, a battery change needs to be registered in the phone module to clear the message, this can be done with most sensible fault code readers on the market.
