The battery now has about 11x higher capacity compared to an original battery, and will therefore never need to be replaced again. Along with this, we have also adapted both Size and Connector to be identical to the original!

3-Volt Replacement battery for the On-Call device with 11x higher capacity than the original!

The error message "On call Service required" in most cases means that the small battery for the on-call system has become bad, these normally have a lifespan of about 10 years.

At Volvo, a battery replacement currently costs about 460 USD, so this aftermarket battery is a much better solution for those who don't mind tinkering a bit themselves at a fraction of the price.

  • When the battery is replaced, a battery change needs to be registered in the phone module to clear the message, this can be done with most fault code readers on the market, like our SuperJ2534

    Only authorized Volvo dealers can see which variant code your car has. If you do not want to contact Volvo, you need to remove your original battery and check if it says 3V. If it says 3V, this is the correct replacement battery for your car.
