Swirl flap linkage arm for Volvo's D5244T series 5-cylinder diesel engines, including Volvo S40, V50, C30, C70, S60, S80, V70, XC70, XC60 and XC90.

A common problem with these engines is that the swirl flap linkage arm wears out, becomes disconnected or breaks. When this happens, the swirl flap mechanism may no longer operate correctly, potentially affecting engine performance and triggering diagnostic trouble codes.

This replacement part allows you to repair the externally mounted swirl flap linkage without replacing the entire swirl flap assembly, provided that the remaining components are in good condition.

The linkage arm is easily accessible on the outside of the engine and is relatively straightforward to replace.
