The SSD contains a pre-configured Windows 10 installation with several programs pre-installed and ready to use.
Boot your laptop directly from the USB drive, connect the SuperJ2534 cable and start diagnosing your car right away.
Your computer will not be affected – all your data, programs and settings will be left completely untouched. When you are finished troubleshooting, simply shut down your computer and remove the USB drive. The next time you start your computer, it will run just as usual, without any changes.
The device works on almost all laptops, as well as Macs from 2015 onwards.
USB 3.0 is preferred but not a requirement.
At least 2GB of RAM is required, but 4GB+ is recommended.
The USB drive will boot up with the "2014D/2015A" program ready to run in about 1 minute via a USB 3.0 port or about 1 minute and 45 seconds on an older laptop with USB 2.0.
Support on how to use the diagnostic programs themselves is not included, but there are lots of instructions on YouTube, Facebook and on a lot of Volvo forums.
