2.4-Volt Replacement Battery for the Alarm Siren in Volvo's P3 models (See below).

The error message "Alarm System Service Required" in most cases means that the small battery in the siren has gone bad.

Replacing the entire siren costs about 3000 SEK + labor, so this is a much better option for those who are comfortable tinkering a bit themselves.

The battery and its connector are shaped to fit perfectly in the alarm siren, after the replacement is made you may need to erase the old fault codes that the car has stored.

! If your old battery has leaked acid onto the siren's circuit board, clean and check the condition of the circuit board before installing the new battery, do not install a new battery if the circuit board is damaged.
