7.2-Volt Replacement Battery for the alarm siren in Volvo's P2 models.

Are you getting the error message "Alarm system service required"? In most cases, it's the backup battery in the alarm siren that has lost capacity – a common fault after several years of use.

The connector is manufactured according to original specifications, but since it is plastic molded, in some cases, slight adjustment (e.g., careful filing) may be required for a perfect fit.

• If your old battery has leaked acid - clean the siren's circuit board thoroughly and check that it is undamaged before installing the new battery.

If the error message does not clear automatically after the replacement, the fault codes may need to be erased. This can easily be done with our Super J2534 Fault Code Reader together with the free version of Vdash.
