Instructions for Rear Light Module
Step 1
Use a pry bar to pry out and remove the overhead lighting in the trunk.
Step 2
Loosen the screw under the lamp and pull the large plastic cover down so that all the clips come off.
Step 3
Locate the large gray connector and separate it.
• If you have an electric tailgate, it is the left connector that you should disconnect (So the one that is more on the driver's side)
Step 4

In the inner part of the connector (Female), locate the Yellow/Purple cable (pin 9) and connect one cable from the module to it.

Then locate the Grey/Brown cable (pin 3) and connect the other cable from the module to it.
• Some cars have two gray/brown wires in this connector, see picture for reference
Step 5
Strap the module's cables together with the two cables that are in the contact holes from the beginning so that they cannot shake out.
Step 6
Reassemble the connector and check that the position light has been extended.
Everything looks good, reassemble everything in reverse order.
